Last week I was in the Maryland/DC area and I’m here
again this week.

Last week it was to train my client Mike “The Hulk”

I’ve been traveling a lot but am really slowing
things down soon as I am going to be focusing on
a “small group training” initiative to enhance
learning outcomes, goals and objectives.

More specifically, I will do this in the arts
of Judo, BJJ and Mixed Martial Arts.

Research has shown that students learn best in
small groups and just as private schools and
colleges can command a premium due to a small
student to teacher ratio, so can I and its because
of the commitment that is being made to your education.

See, I could jam hundreds of people into a room
and charge them some money and “wow” them with
some fancy moves and entertain them with some
jokes here and there and walk out with pockets
full of money, but only a few will actually

Some people will get a golden nugget or two
and some wil have an “ahaal moment but none
will REALLY leave my presence saying “I GOT IT!”

As a coach and educator, I strive for perfection
in the dissemenation and inculcation of knowledge
to my students and clients.

I want them to “get it.”

I want YOU to get it.

This is why I OVER-deliver.

Ask anyone who has ever
trained with me and they
will tell you that I
over-deliver all the time.

Because I believe in what I’m doing and
your ability to learn.

Here’s The Problem…..

You’ve been training.

You’ve been training HARD.

You’re in great shape.

You are doing the reps.

You’ve bought the products.

You’ve done the camps….

You’ve done the seminars……

But…… you haven’t made
the gains that you are looking

There’s a reason for that.

Its because most of these coaches
don’t know how to properly and
appropriately teach. Many of them
rely on hard practices, traveling,
training groups and enhanced physical
ability to dominate an opponent.

And although I AGREE that these things
are VERY necessary I don’t fail as they
do by stopping there.

There is a level of professional development
that MUST occur to ensure success on
the mat as well as off the mat.

There is a solution to this problem.

That solution is deliberate practice.

Deliberate practice is a special type of
training which I spoke about earlier
this week. It will allow you to advance
quickly, to learn at a rapid rate and to -
quite honestly – get good at Judo FAST!

My clients have used these methods and
I have used them. I’ve studied the research
of the foremost authorities on the subject
for years and have applied their techniques
along with some things that I’ve learned
over the years through making champions
and mistakes to the point where I have
refined to process of rapid judo indoctrination.

My clients get good fast because I understand
coaching and education and the secrets of
deliberate practice.

And furthermore….. I am WILLING to do
the deliberate practice. The hours and
hours of training with you to ensure that
you develop.
